Jennah and Jeff’s day was a seamless stretch of joy from morning until evening, and I was elated to capture it from the Boston Park Plaza to the Boston Public Library. Timeless and classically romantic, the BPL courtyard was a breathtaking stage for these two to tie the knot among friends and family that traveled across land and sea to witness.

This was my first time shooting at Artists for Humanity, and it definitely won’t be my last. The rental fee for events at AFH go directly to funding the employment of over 250 under-resourced creative Boston teens annually in art and design. Art adorns the walls that wrap around the venue and lead to industrial garage doors that let in soft, natural light. The fact Matt and Erica chose this as their Boston wedding venue speaks volumes to what they value, and I was so grateful to be a part of their day.

When I met Julie and Jason, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding - so when they chose me, I was elated. When I see them together, I see two people very deeply in love, very dedicated, very fun-loving, and very open with each other. Transparency is the backbone of a healthy relationship, and their openness with each other sets a stage for understanding and empathy.
