Ryan (he/him) and Jeremy (he/him) are such freakin’ sweathearts. I had a lovely time capturing their wedding at the Beauport Gloucester Hotel.
Read MoreBea (they/them) and Jackson (he/him) would meet in the middle in Providence, RI, in the early stages of their once long-distance relationship. They’d sit on the steps of City Hall, chatting, catching feelings hard, and watching folks get married… and so now that they were ready to formally tie the knot in front of friends and family, they chose PVD’s City Hall as their stage.
A beautiful autumn day filled with laughter, happy tears, and emotional speeches about AO3. I’d tag this fic as “tooth-rotting fluff; established relationship; domestic bliss; happily ever after; comfort, no hurt”.
Don’t forget to leave a kudo <3
Read MoreJoe (he/him) and Corey (he/him) have a certain warmth and magnetism about them that draws in everyone, whether they’re friends or strangers. At least, that’s what I felt while watching their celebration unfold in gorgeous Provincetown, MA. Can you believe this was my first time there? I feel like I should be put in queer person time-out, I dunno. Regardless, Joe and Corey’s wedding day at Provincetown Town Hall was an amazing first impression of this iconic, idyllic town.
Read MoreI loved this timeless engagement session recently in the North End with Rhea (they/them) and Salem (they/them)... I will never get over how effortless it feels to capture queer love.
A merry-go-round ride at Quincy Market preceded some gelato and hand-holding throughout the North End, with a dusky rose-garden somewhere in-between.
Read MoreJoe (he/him) and Corey (he/him) are truly two sweethearts. They’re spontaneous, genuine, appreciative of the arts and a good glass of wine… LITERALLY BEST COMBO in my other humble opinion.
But most of all…they love each other :)
They enjoyed some wine, we yapped about theater and beach spots and pets, and then bopped over to Fan Pier in the Seaport to stroll along the sunny cobbled walkways.
Read MoreI felt at home with Nicole (she/her) and Ari (she/her) immediately upon meeting at the Kelleher Rose Garden in Boston’s Back Bay. After so much rain and heat, I was crossing my fingers the roses were still around. MAN, were they ever! Stunning pink blooms framed these two lovebirds who could not stop giggling and making each other smile. And how perfect, too, that their engagement rings are rose-themed!
Read MoreWith everything happening in the country right now aimed at stripping away our rights to Be and to Love, I feel more connected with this medium now more than ever. It’s more than just a niche within the wedding industry. It’s a mission to capture and immortalize our existence.
We exist. We love. And we are loved.
Read MoreLuck was just with us all day, following us to the quiet and empty Judah Baker Windmill; Built in 1791, the Judah Baker Windmill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is Yarmouth's last-surviving windmill. It was a beautiful little venue with the Nantucket Sound as the stunning backdrop for their vows.
Read MoreA chance online meeting, a weirdly similar astro chart, and a chemistry that defied distance. I had so much fun capturing Shai (they/them) and Jett (they/them) on a gorgeous sunny Boston day in April. Fresh blooms and late-day sun adorned the Charles River Esplanade and Public Garden, and we took our time ambling about and enjoying the sights.
Read MoreIn this trying and dark time in our country, I am repeatedly in awe of how much queer love triumphs hate, and extraordinarily grateful to be trusted and contacted to capture this love. To march fearlessly hand-in-hand, unapologetically oneself and in love, takes bravery now. It shouldn’t. It shouldn’t be considered brave to simply live, and love. But right now, it is, and I will forever be there to capture this act of rebellion in the form of laughter and joy.
Read MoreBrenna (she/her) and Natalia (she/her), are a Tinder success story all the way from Arizona. They both decided to take a vacay together to enjoy the iconic Boston foliage, and along the way, Brenna contacted me to set up a couple’s session with her and Natalia. As the session neared, Natalia sneakily DM’d me with a request: she wanted to propose during the shoot.
Read MoreI’ve been waiting with bated breath for Marlowe and Rae’s wedding day. Ever since meeting them at their enchanted forest tea party engagement session, I knew this would be something absolutely spectacular. These two have been working tirelessly to create an experience for themselves and their guests that would be unforgettable, beautiful, drenched in detail, and fantastical in nature. Marlowe and Rae both designed their ensembles, as well as made them by hand. Their first look was drenched in sunlight through the trees by a fountain, where they could both enjoy the fruits of their labor coming together beautifully.
Read MoreShira (they/them) and Colin (he/him) were wed at a lakeside summer camp in New Hampshire. They both have a deep love for the outdoors and sought to share that with their many loved ones on their wedding day — and boy did they succeed! It was a day of music, joy, song and dance — and really, really good food. And, the rain even stopped right in time for them! What more could one ask for on their wedding day?
Read MoreShaina (she/her) and Laura (she/her), while not unfamiliar with the East Coast, have spent most of their recent years between San Fransisco and Portland Oregon. Now they're back! They’re a Tinder success story whose first date was at an arcade; I found these two to be just as easygoing and playful in spirit as their taste in date spots! Drawn to the occult (“we’re both Scorpios”) and history, the Quincy City Hall’s timeless New England architecture called to them.
The cemetery next door was just a bonus.
Read MoreLaughter erupts over the swath of white chairs dotting the lawn at Harman’s Herb Farm. What the Studio Audience does not know is that in another minute they will be crying. (What the wedding photographer does not know is that the hanky they snatched from the strategically-placed-hanky-basket at the greeting line will not, after all, be exclusively used for polishing their lens.)
Bet you’ve never seen a slam poetry reading at a wedding. Bet you’ve never seen several. But that’s just the way Truj and Brian roll.
Read MoreI've been told love comes to you when you least expect it, and Caitlin (she/they) + AJ (she/her) are evidence of that. I am constantly overjoyed to capture queer love and tell the stories of creative, passionate people who found themselves in this wild world.
For their Boston engagement photoshoot, we started off in their lovely home adoringly decorated and fabulously stylish, before moseying over to the Arnold Arboretum with AJ’s motorcycle.
Read MoreJessica (she/her) and Stephanie (she/her) met through mutual friends in the Jamaica Plain queer community, which I know to be a vibrant and welcoming space. Having met these two for the first time on our shoot, I would also describe Stephanie and Jessica to be just that: vibrant and welcoming.
We enjoyed a summer stroll through the Arboretum, chasing the shade and enjoying the views. (And seeing some amazing dogs, too)
Read MoreRae (he/him) and Marlowe (they/them) have what I personally believe to be the Ideal in a relationship: creative harmony. They constantly pursue enrichment through the arts: from their professions, to their communities, to the clothes they wear — often handmade. When they contacted me about capturing their engagement and wedding, I knew from our first conversation we would get along. Rae and Marlowe’s lives are opportunities for creating, and I felt that when I met them, and felt that even more when I captured their engagement.
Read MoreI always love when I shoot with clients who feel like friends. Truj (they/them) & Brian (they/them) are just Like That - magnetic and companionable. When we first met, we talked for ages about everything: art, poetry, video games, tattoos, cosplay, music, travel, podcasts, food. They love everything, they want to know about everything, and they want to try everything, together.
It was clear to me that these are people who share a zest for life, and found each other to explore what it has to offer. That, personally, is what the Ideal truly is.
Read MoreThese two are extremely dedicated and invested contributors to the local arts. Shira (they/them) works as a director and dramaturg and Colin (he/him) is an experienced stage manager.
Together they invest their time and skill in showcasing the talent, thoughts, and works of the LGBTQIA+ artists and activists in the greater Boston area. Their dedication is evident in the work they do, and I can tell they build off each other, inspire each other, and most of all, support and love one another.
