Lively LGBTQ Provincetown "P Town" Wedding
Joe (he/him) and Corey (he/him) have a magnetism that orbits them both, drawing in everyone around them whether they’re friends or strangers. At least, that’s what I felt while watching their celebration unfold in gorgeous Provincetown, MA. Can you believe this was my first time there? I feel like I should be put in queer time-out, I dunno. Regardless, Joe and Corey’s wedding day at Provincetown Town Hall was an amazing first impression of this iconic, idyllic town.
It was as though these two were celebrities as they walked from the cottage to Town Hall; the streets erupted in applause and cheers from passerbys. The whole town stopped for them, it felt like, to cheer them on for this new chapter. Everyone was just so happy. It was such a joyous, safe, accepting place to be under the the blue sky and sunshine.
Lovers of theatre and the arts, their celebration was a production in and of itself, inviting their closest friends and family to be a part of their story. Beautiful opera echoed through the town hall by one of their friends, followed by a stunning piano-vocal performance by their other friend. Poetry, music, theatre, dance — Joe and Corey’s wedding was an homage to the arts and it was a joy to be a part of that.
CONGRATULATIONS, JOE AND COREY!
